HostsMan is a small application for managing and editing hosts files. A host files is a text file used by the operating system to map hostnames and websites to IP addresses. In basic terms it is like an address book of your connections and websites and it is used mainly to redirect websites or more importantly, block access to websites. Although you can navigate the Windows Explorer, locate hosts and edit as appropriate, it is quite complex and should be left for advanced users. Alternatively one can use HostMan to carry out all hosts related tasks such as editing contents, merging two hosts, update, scan for errors and duplicates and more importantly enable/disable hosts file in a flexible manner.
